Co je Pantomyl a k čemu se užívá

Pantoprazol je selektivní „inhibitor protonové pumpy“, lék snižující množství kyseliny produkované
Vaším žaludkem. Používá se k léčbě onemocnění žaludku a střev způsobených nadměrnou kyselostí.

Přípravek Pantomyl 40 mg se používá pro léčbu:
Dospělí a mladiství ve věku od 12 let:
• Refluxní ezofagitida. Zánět jícnu (trubice, která spojuje hrdlo se žaludkem), spolu
s regurgitací žaludeční kyseliny (návrat žaludeční kyseliny zpět do jícnu).

Dospělí:
• Infekce vyvolaná bakterií zvanou Helicobacter pylori u pacientů s vředy dvanáctníku
a žaludečními vředy v kombinaci se dvěma antibiotiky (eradikační terapie). Cílem je zbavit se
bakterií, a tak snížit pravděpodobnost návratu těchto vředů.
• Žaludeční a dvanáctníkové vředy.
• U Zollinger-Ellison syndromu a dalších stavů, při nichž je produkováno příliš mnoho kyseliny
v žaludku.
