Co je Sertralin actavis a k čemu se užívá

Sertralin actavis obsahuje léčivou látku Sertralinum (Sertralin). Sertralin patří do skupiny léků
nazývaných inhibitory zpětného vychytávání serotoninu (SSRI); tyto léky se používají k léčbě
deprese a/nebo úzkostných poruch.

Přípravek Sertralin actavis je určen k léčbě
• deprese a k předcházení návratu deprese (u dospělých)
• sociální úzkostné poruchy (u dospělých)
• posttraumatické stresové poruchy (u dospělých)
• panické poruchy (u dospělých)
• obsedantně kompulzivní poruchy (u dospělých a dětí a dospívajících ve věku 6-17 let).

Deprese je klinické onemocnění, při kterém se můžete cítit smutní, nemůžete pořádně spát nebo se
těšit ze života jako dříve.

Obsedantně kompulzivní porucha a panická porucha jsou onemocnění související s úzkostí, při níž
trpíte soustavně představami (obsesí), které Vás nutí provádět neustálé rituály (kompulze).

Posttraumatická stresová porucha je stav, který se může projevit po velmi emočním traumatickém
zážitku a který má některé příznaky podobné depresi a úzkosti. Sociální úzkostná porucha (sociální
fobie) je onemocnění související s úzkostí. Je charakterizováno pocity intenzivní úzkosti nebo
strachu ze společenských situací (např. rozhovor s neznámým člověkem, mluvení před velkou
skupinou osob, jedení nebo pití před ostatními, nebo obavy, že se chováte trapně).
