Food interactions and other recommendationsAsentra 50: Avoid alcohol. Avoid St.John's Wort. Avoid taking with grapefruit juice. Take with food.
Injexate: Milk appears to reduce its absorption. Take without regard to meals. Limit caffeine intake.
Tritace: Alcohol may increase the vasodilatory effects of ramipril. Herbs that may attenuate the antihypertensive effect of ramipril include: bayberry, blue cohash, cayenne, ephedra, ginger, ginseng (American), kola and licorice. High salt intake may attenuate the antihypertensive effect of ramipril. Ramipril decreases the excretion of potassium. Salt substitutes containing potassium increase the risk of hyperkalemia. Take without regard to meals.
