Co je Prothazin a k čemu se užívá

Promethazin-hydrochlorid je fenothiazinový derivát, který působí jako antihistaminikum (lék na
alergii).
Prothazin se používá ke zklidnění při úzkosti, nadměrném napětí, k léčení reakcí přecitlivělosti (tj. při
kopřivce, vyrážce po lécích, pylové rýmě, reakcích po bodnutí hmyzu aj.), spastické bronchitidě (zánět
průdušek), průduškového astmatu, k předcházení a léčbě nevolnosti a zvracení při jízdě dopravními
prostředky a k odstranění poruch spánku způsobených těmito stavy. Přípravek se používá i ke
zklidnění pacientů před lékařskými zákroky.
Přípravek mohou používat dospělí, dospívající a děti od 10 let věku.
