Co je Vertimed
Vertimed obsahuje betahistin. Patří do skupiny léků nazývaných analogy histaminu.
K čemu se Vertimed používá
Vertimed se používá k léčbě Ménièrovy nemoci, jejíž příznaky zahrnují:
• závratě (vertigo) a nevolnost nebo zvracení
• zvonění v uších (tinnitus)
• ztrátu sluchu
Pocit závratě je způsoben tím, když část vnitřního ucha, která kontroluje rovnováhu, nepracuje správně
(tzv. „vestibulární vertigo“).
Jak Vertimed působí
Vertimed zlepšuje průtok krve ve vnitřním uchu. To snižuje tlak ve vnitřním uchu.
